We had a great stay at Ebisu Imadegawa. the spacious room had a handy kitchenette with pots, plates, and cutlery available from reception. the in-room washing machine was a lifesaver halfway through our trip. Although the location was a bit secluded, there were several bus routes just a couple of minutes away, making it easy to reach any destination within 20-30 minutes. We enjoyed the tranquility of the neighborhood, with its traditional Japanese houses and proximity to popular tourist attractions. the free bike rental was a fantastic option for exploring the city. The friendly reception staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful, even arranging a taxi for our early morning departure. Cons: Everything is exactly what we needed and wanted! 😊.

The room was incredibly spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower were also very nice. The location was convenient, with several minimarts in the area. Plus, the staff was friendly and efficient, providing good service throughout our stay.
There were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. the machine to buy laundry detergent was never refilled during our entire stay, making it difficult to do laundry.

During my xmas stay at this hotel, I was impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the apartments. The rooms were spotless and had all the necessary amenities, including a kitchenette and a washing machine. The location was also ideal, with bus stops and convenience stores within walking distance. One of the best aspects was the helpful and friendly staff who were always available to assist.
There were a few negative aspects to my experience. the lack of plates and cutlery in the kitchen was inconvenient and not mentioned prior to arrival.

I had a fantastic stay at a great apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful and spoke English, making communication easy. I loved that they provided bicycles for free, making it convenient to explore Kyoto. The location was peaceful and convenient, with bus stops just a short walk away. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a wonderful stay in Kyoto.
